Hello, and thank you for your patience. I joined the forum this month, and this thread was the first thing I was asked to look at.

Our records show that in 2016 we received 31 requests for an unscented candle, and introduced one. In 2017 we received 29 complaints that it smelled of nothing, and retired it. Eleven of the complaints came from people who had made the original request.

We did what the data told us both times. We would do it again. That is the problem.

Yes. Our position has been that a margin of two is not large enough to pour forty candles. We will review it every year, and we will tell you each time.

Thank you for sharing that, quiet_nose_sf. We hear you, and it’s noted in the binder.

On Fresh Paint: it is the most accurate candle we have ever made, and we stand by it. It is also why the front room had to be repainted, which nobody predicted except, in a sense, the candle. We are not ready to talk about it yet.

Annual review, as promised. Signatures: 30. Opposition: 2 (cedar_skeptic, and a man who wrote to us by post). Margin: 28. This is now larger than the margin that retired it.

We are reconsidering. I have also checked, and vince_sells_homes has signed this thread eleven times. We have counted him once.
